The village of Tsarevets is located approximately 3 km south of the town of Svishtov. A regional highway runs through the village, connecting Svishtov with the provincial capital of Veliko Tarnovo.
A small local stream flows through the village toward the Danube River. Elevations across the village territory range from 84 meters to 140 meters above sea level.
