LZ2KBK – Pavlikeni Municipal Radio Club
The official launch of club station LZ2KBK in Pavlikeni took place in 1956. Its initial transmitter was built with technical support from the regional radio club in Veliko Tarnovo.
Although formal archives of its earliest days remain limited, the club maintained active operations throughout the 1960s.
1. On-Air Memories and Contest Participation
Among the key club activists was Yanko Yanev (LZ2DI – sk), alongside station administrator Zhivko, who managed the club room and facilities.
Operators from LZ2KBK competed regularly in national events. In the 1966 National YL/XYL Championship, Pavlikeni was represented by three operators: V. Andreeva, St. Ivanova, and R. Goranova.
