LZ2KBK – Pavlikeni city radio club
The radio station was opened in 1956 with a transmitter built in the district radio club in Veliko Tarnovo.
We have no information about the opening of the amateur radio club in Pavlikeni. My personal memory – In 196x I visited this club – There were Yanko Yanev LZ2DI(sk) and a man named Zhivko, who was involved with the club, but was not an operator of the radio station. In a small room there was equipment that unfortunately I cannot describe. In any case, there were operators and LZ2KBK was working. In rep. competition for women and girls in 1966, three camerawomen participated: V. Andreeva, St. Ivanova and R. Goranova.
