This success does not come by accident. Hristo Ivanov graduated from the National Art Academy in 1966 with Professor Alexander Poplilov. For 27 years he taught fine arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts at University. Setting it to sgraffito pottery comes from student days, when to work means to teaching, he painted every summer archaeological finds in the museum in Haskovo, among which there are many ceramics. Later purposefully goes Troyan region – rich in ancient and contemporary ceramics, specializing in the Institute of Applied Arts – City of Lviv (Ukraina), where is the Department of Ceramics. His influence also have specializations and in St. Petersburg (Russia) and Germany.
