Unfortunately I could not find historical data on how long bikini-design is used at home, in Bulgaria. Judging from my own experience, it should be only 10-12 years, but I guess hiding originates from the ancient Thracians. To this thought I bent the names of small and Kosmatka (near Kazanlak Thracian mounds).

I’m afraid to ask about any Bulgarian to not adopted my question as a hint of her age.

Today in our country in almost every cosmetic studio is done bikini design. Some stylists work with cliches (templates), others consider this approach for routine and give freedom and flight of fantasy.

Each year, stylists gather at international competitions and compete in creating masterpieces.
