Thank you very much for the warm words, Nedyalka! Благодаря за топлите думи, Недялка! Аз съм малкият му син 😉
I have discovered my way to ceramics when I first step in the studio of Christo Ivanov in Malak Chiflik. It was in 1995, I have just finished a secondary school for foreign languages in my home town Veliko Turnovo and was not sure what I want to do next.
I spent an year helping Christo with his work in decoration using sgrafito technique and the art work we created was exhibited on the 24th of May in the main library Sts Cyril and Methodius in Sofia.
In present time I am a Ceramic Artist and like very much my occupation. My memories bring me very often to the house and the garden with a mountain view just outside Veliko Turnovo.
As Christmas is fast I remember Christo’s name who would celebrate his name day on the 25th of December if he was among us.
I feel very thankful for knowing Christo Ivanov.
